“Dear brother/sister,”
“First, let’s briefly talk about the objective:”
“As it is known, the devil is a creature of the species of jinn.” “Como se sabe, el diablo es una criatura de la especie de los jinn.”
“According to the ayah, the purpose of the creation of the jinns is the same as that of humans: to believe in Allah, worship Him, and advance in the knowledge of Him. Just like among humans, there are also jinns who have failed this test and have become disbelievers. The devil is one of these jinns, who was expelled from the divine mercy for not prostrating to the Prophet Adam (Peace be upon him). As punishment, he was given permission to bother humans and lead them astray until the Day of Judgment.”
“The reason why this permission is granted is not one, but hundreds. The most important of them are the following two reasons: Almighty God could have tested human beings without the temptation of the devil and could have even assigned the task of the devil to human beings. But by doing it this way, by accepting the repugnant desire of the devil to divert human beings from the right path until the end of the world, the punishment that the devil will suffer in hell is multiplied by billions. According to the hadith-i sharif (1), for every sin that people commit following the temptation of the devil, a sin is also attributed to the devil, thus increasing his punishment.”
“If human beings were not given the ability to control the evil within their own souls, and if it were not for the influence of the devil over humans, their ranks would remain stable, just like those of the angels.”
