“Dear brother,”
“Firstly, it is necessary to point out that alcoholic beverages and drugs are prohibited by religion: Rasul-i Ekrem (asm) says the following:”
“Thus, it is inconceivable for a Muslim to drink alcohol or use drugs. However, if a person commits this forbidden act without denying its prohibition, they are still considered a Muslim; therefore, they cannot be freed from their duty to comply with the commandments. This is because each order and prohibition is an independent obligation.”
“Also, worship is a task of conscience and understanding. For this reason, it is necessary to be intelligent as well as being Muslim and reaching adulthood to perform all worship. In order for the worship to be accepted, it is necessary to perform it with intention and sincerity. Therefore, those who pray or fast must be sober and have a clear mind to know what they say and do. Allah the Almighty says in verse 43 of Surah An-Nisa,”
