“Wouldn’t it be more accurate to interpret the word ‘vedribûhünne’ in verse 34 of the Surah of Nisa as ‘separate their beds’ instead of the meaning of ‘striking women’? In fact, just like the verb ‘Darabe’ means ‘to go on a journey’, isn’t it true that our Prophet also applied this verse by separating from his bed?”
